We offer a wide variety of gymnastics classes for children from pre-school to high school!

Pre-School and Tots Gymnastics

In this 55-minute coed class, the children warm-up together for 15-minutes while focusing on proper stretching techniques. The remainder of the class consists of 10-minutes on three events: floor, bars, rings, balance beam, and tumble track. The students learn to hop, jump, kick, roll, go upside down, support their body weight on their hands on the floor, and kick their feet in the air; all skills which prepare them for higher level gymnastics such as cartwheels, handstands, and bridges. On the bars they learn to swing, hang in different positions, support themselves in a front-support, go around backward on the bar, and execute a pull-over on the bar. The beams are used to teach stationary balance skills, along with walking forward and backward, kicks, jumps, dip walks and chasses. Accessories such as foam blocks, bean bags, and cones are used as teaching aids. 5 or 6 students to 1 teacher ratio

Beginner Gymnastics

Girl Gymnastics: This 55-minute class is for beginner girls, 5-8 or 8-15 Students are taught skills on each of the four main Olympic events: vault, bars, balance beam, and floor, using USA Gymnastics skill progressions. Gymnasts warm-up for the first 15-minutes of each class, incorporating cardio, flexibility, and strength into their warm-up. The remainder of the class time is equally spent on tumble track, and two other events.

Boy Gymnastics: This 55-minute class is for beginner boys, 5-15 Students are taught skills on each of the main Olympic events: vault, high bars, p-bars, pommel horse and floor, using USA Gymnastics skill progressions. Gymnasts warm-up for the first 15-minutes of each class, incorporating cardio, flexibility, and strength into their warm-up. The remainder of the class time is equally spent on tumble track, and two other events.

Intermediate Girls Gymnastics

This 55-minute class is for beginner girls, 5-15 Students are taught skills on each of the four main Olympic events: vault, bars, balance beam, and floor, using USA Gymnastics skill progressions. Gymnasts warm-up for the first 15-minutes of each class, incorporating cardio, flexibility, and strength into their warm-up. The remainder of the class time is equally spent on tumble track, and two other events. Girls in this class have at least a year of gymnastics and can do a cartwheel on the floor and a pullover on the bars. Evaluations are available for placement.

Tumbling and Additional Classes

Tumbling: This 55-minute class is for beginner girls/boys, 5-15 Students are taught skills on the tumble track and floor using USA Gymnastics skill progressions. Gymnasts warm-up for the first 15-minutes of each class, incorporating cardio, flexibility, and strength into their warm-up. The remainder of the class time is equally spent on tumble track doing tumbling exercises.

Sokol Champs: A great program where kids will experience the best of gymnastics combined with well-rounded body training, applying creative circuits and obstacle courses in a flow. This program promotes the child’s creative spirit, engaging the whole body, achieving strength, agility, and flexibility through freestyle movement. Champs will overcome obstacles by climbing, rolling, jumping, and flipping; promoting problem-solving at their own pace.
